Andy Shaw

Ride Leader and Accounts Manager

Andy has always cycled on and off but his main sport was long-distance running until damaging his calf muscle in the run-up to the London Marathon after which the running shoes went in the bin and jumped on a bike. He started with mountain biking with many off road duathlons thrown in, but soon came to realise he didn’t have the bottle for technical downhills so transitioned to road cycling in 2014 and never looked back. As much as he might say he doesn’t like hills, he can often be found in the Yorkshire Dales tearing up Buttertubs, Fleet Moss or Oxnop Scar but has an irrational hatred of Mam Nick in the Peak District. Andy’s experience as a Finance Director makes him the ideal choice to handle our accounts.
